Niro Investment Group celebrates Romanian sports performers at the ProSport 2022 Gala

ProSport organized the Great Romanian Sport Achievers Gala, during which the Romanian sports performers in 2022 were awarded, as well as top personalities who contributed to the development of Romanian sports.

A supporter of Romanian sports for over a decade, Niro Investment Group was a partner of the event.

Supporting Romanian performance and achievements in sport is an integral part of Niro Investment Group’s values.

In 2008, Niro Investment Group was the official sponsor of the Romanian Olympic and Sports Committee, supporting the participation of the Romanian team in the Olympic Games in Beijing and subsequently offering prizes to the medal-winning Romanian athletes.

Niro is an official partner and sponsor of the Romanian Handball Federation, actively supporting all national teams for many years.

As an official partner of the Romanian Cycling and Triathlon Federation, Niro annually supports the Cycling Tour of Romania.

Over time, Niro Investment Group also supported the rowing, volleyball and rugby sections of the Dinamo sports club.

Niro Investment Group – Excellence Award at the Romania-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry Awards Gala

During the annual Gala organized by the Romania-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry, CCIRC rewarded with excellence awards various personalities of political, economic, social and cultural life in Romania, as well as companies that stood out through their tight economic relations with the People’s Republic of China.

The event took place in the presence of E.S. Mr. Han Chunlin – Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in Bucharest and enjoyed the participation of Romanian and Chinese diplomats, representatives of companies with strong bilateral economic and commercial activities, politicians, representatives of the business environment, cultural personalities, journalists, representatives of civil society.

Niro Investment Group received an award of excellence from the CCIRC National College for its consistent activity, carried out over almost three decades, with a real impact in terms of the development of bilateral economic and commercial relations between Romania and the People’s Republic of China.

Upon receiving the award, Clitemnestra Gâdea, president of the Board of Directors of Niro Investment Group, said:

“We would like to thank the Romania-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the award of excellence, which makes us extremely happy and honors us. Niro Investment Group has assumed the role of catalyst for the relations between Romania and the People’s Republic of China for almost three decades through sustained efforts aimed at encouraging the relations between the two countries on all levels: economic, commercial, cultural and social. Niro Investment Group, awarded at the Capital Awards Gala

Capital magazine celebrated 30 years since its first publication by organizing an anniversary gala that took place on December 7. During the event, personalities and companies that contributed to Romania’s development in the last three decades were awarded.

As every year, the Capital Awards Gala enjoyed the participation of top politicians, business environment, culture, medicine and sport representatives, mass media.

Among the awarded companies was also Niro Investment Group, that received the award for Three Decades of Investment and Development.

Clitemnestra Gâdea, president of the Board of Directors of Niro Investment Group, picked up the award on behalf of the company:

“First of all, happy birthday on the occasion of the anniversary of 30 years of activity, we wish you a future full of achievements. We are honored by this award from Capital magazine. These festive moments encourage us to continue the journey that we too started 30 years ago. We dedicate this award to all my colleagues because they have supported us in transforming this business from a small family business into a real investment group, now recognized all over the country.”

Niro Investment Group to support Romanian handball also in the coming years. The Carpathian Trophy becomes the Niro Carpathian Trophy

Niro Investment Group signed a new partnership with the Romanian Handball Federation for the next three years, becoming the main sponsor of the Carpathian Trophy. A traditional event for the Romanian handball, the Carpathian Trophy becomes thus the Niro Carpathian Trophy.

“The Niro Carpathian Trophy takes further a tradition of over 60 years, at the highest international level, with an essential role in preparing future performances and polishing the talents of Romanian handball. Trust is one of the most important keys to success, and for the next three years, the trust that the extension of the partnership with Niro Investment Group gives us will help fulfil our hopes related to the international performances of the national handball teams. We would like to thank Niro Investment Group for their ongoing trust and support”, Constantin Din, President of the Romanian Handball Federation, said.

The Niro Carpathian Trophy is a traditional sporting event, attended annually by several national handball teams.

Niro Investment Group is official partner and sponsor of the Romanian Handball Federation since 2016 and supports the national women’s and men’s handball teams. Niro Investment Group stood by the Federation and the athletes at many memorable moments, and the collaboration will continue in the coming years.
