NIRO Investment Group had the honor of participating in the “Romanians Developing Romania” campaign, initiated by Intact Media Group, a project that celebrates the success stories of Romanian entrepreneurs and companies. Through its vision oriented towards excellence, NIRO significantly contributes to positioning Romania on the international hospitality map, by developing three luxury hotel projects.

Soon, Grand Hotel du Boulevard will reopen its doors under the name Corinthia Bucharest, the first ultra-luxury boutique hotel in Romania. It combines historical charm with the highest hotel standards, being a symbol of refinement and reinvented tradition. At the same time, in the north of the capital, Swissôtel Bucharest, a premium hotel operated by Accor, located in an area with great economic potential, is taking shape.

Beyond borders, NIRO demonstrates that Romanian hospitality can shine on a global level. In one of the most coveted exotic destinations, the company is developing Corinthia Maldives, the first luxury resort built by a Romanian company.

Corinthia Grand Hotel du Boulevard: The magic of the holidays and the brilliance of a reborn history

Last week, Christmas lights transformed Corinthia Grand Hotel du Boulevard into a symbol of holidays and elegance. The emblematic building in the center of Bucharest, inaugurated in 1873 and designed by architect Alexandru Orăscu for jeweler Jacques Herdan, was restored by NIRO Investment Group. Thus, the hotel continues its story as a witness to the history and transformations of the capital.

The festive decor impresses with its refined details and deep meanings. Hot air balloon-shaped ornaments evoke the nostalgia of holidays of yesteryear, while carousel horses bring a playful touch, contrasting with the classic sophistication of neoclassical architecture. At the center of the decor, a thematic Christmas tree with clocks symbolizes the passage of time and the beauty of festive moments. The entire ensemble is completed by thousands of lights, fir trees and other elements that form a fairy tale setting.

Corinthia Grand Hotel du Boulevard is preparing for a new stage, to be reopened in 2025 as a luxury boutique hotel, with 30 exclusive suites. The future destination will host the famous SASS in Monaco and a spa center and will redefine the standards of luxury hospitality in Bucharest.

This initiative symbolizes not only the restoration of a historic building, but also the celebration of a new chapter for the cultural heritage of the capital. Corinthia Grand Hotel du Boulevard will remain a place where tradition meets modernity, offering guests an unparalleled experience.

The extraordinary “Magical Winter” concert at the Romanian Athenaeum – a fairytale show that sets the tone for the winter holidays

On Saturday, December 7, 2024, the Romanian Athenaeum hosted the 14th edition of the extraordinary concert “Magic Winter”. This special event, which has already become a beloved tradition, brought the Royal Camerata to the audience, under the direction of conductor Constantin Grigore. The evening’s repertoire combined classical masterpieces with the magic specific to the winter holidays, offering an unforgettable musical experience.

Supporting this concert represents our company’s constant commitment to culture and young artists. It is an initiative that reflects our values ​​of social responsibility, through which we want to contribute to enriching the cultural life of the community and promoting Romanian talents.

Several representatives of the company participated in the event, including Silvia Milca, Raluca Mihaescu, Mihaela Istrate and Camelia Popescu. Romania makes history at the EHF EURO 2024 Women’s Handball Championship

The EHF EURO 2024 Women’s Handball Championship marks a historic first, as it is the first edition of the competition to feature 24 national teams. Romania is proudly represented by the women’s national team, which demonstrated passion and determination in the group stage, playing in Group B at the Fonix Arena in Debrecen, Hungary.

The support from the Romanian fans was impressive, with over 2,000 fans cheering the team on at every match, creating an electrifying atmosphere in the stadium. The team’s performance was crowned with a qualification to the main group I, alongside strong teams such as France, Sweden, Hungary, Montenegro and Poland.

NIRO Investment Group supports the anniversary concert of Loredana Groza, a tribute to the 40 years of the artist’s career

In a celebration of Romanian talent and music, Loredana Groza will mark 40 years of her career with an anniversary concert at Sala Palatului, supported by NIRO Investment Group. This concert, which will take place on the 16th and 17th of November, will celebrate not only the artist’s debut, in 1984, in the “Star without a name” contest, but also her unique contribution to the Romanian music scene.

Loredana was the first Romanian artist to take the stage of the Palace Hall after the 1989 Revolution, paving the way for a new era of Romanian music and inspiring generations of artists. Recognized for her ability to reinvent herself and create new trends, Loredana has greatly influenced the Romanian pop scene, becoming one of the most long-lived and beloved figures of our music. In addition to her outstanding vocal talent, Loredana also distinguished herself as a lyricist and composer, being the first Romanian artist who managed to write her own lyrics and produce her own albums, a standard rarely reached in the music industry.

The event will be sprinkled with emotional moments and a retrospective of an exceptional career, which crossed Romania’s borders and remained in the hearts of the public of all ages. A true landmark concert, which will celebrate an artist who continues to inspire with her unmistakable talent and her invaluable contribution to Romanian musical culture.

NIRO Investment S.A. awarded at the National Top of Companies 2024

NIRO Investment S.A. obtained the 2nd place in the Large Enterprises category, Services field, in the prestigious National Top of Companies, XXXI edition, organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania. The gala event, dedicated to the best performing companies from various fields of activity, took place recently at the Romexpo Exhibition Center, pavilion B3.

NIRO Investment SA – 1st place in the Services Category at the Top Companies in District 2

NIRO Investment SA won first place in the Services category in the Top Companies from District 2, organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the City of Bucharest (CCIB), with the support of the City Hall of District 2. The event was aimed at recognizing and promoting companies with outstanding results and brought together top managers from District 2 as well as central and local government representatives.

The award was received by Mrs. Mihaela Istrate, Executive Director of NIRO Investment SA, and Mrs. Raluca Mihăescu, Director of Image and Communication.

The ranking made by CCIB reflects the importance of the services sector, which dominates the top of awarded companies in District 2, representing 38% of the total. The field of commerce ranks second, with 31%, followed by industry (12%). Also, construction, research-development and high-tech are each present with 7%, and tourism with 4%. A percentage of 1% of laureates represent sectors such as agriculture, forestry and fisheries.

For NIRO Investment SA, the award obtained is proof of its continuous commitment to provide quality services and contribute to the development of the local business environment. The recognition by the CCIB and the City Hall of District 2 is an additional reason for the NIRO team to remain a reliable partner for the business community and its collaborators.

NIRO Investment S.A. – Double award for excellence at the Top Companies Gala in Bucharest

NIRO Investment S.A. was honored with two awards of excellence at the Top Companies Gala in Bucharest, within the XXXI edition of this landmark event for the economic environment of the Capital, organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the City of Bucharest (CCIB). At the awards ceremony, held in the Carol I Hall of the CCIB Palace, managers of the best performing Bucharest companies were present, together with prominent personalities from the socio-economic environment, government representatives, members of the local administration and non-governmental organizations.

NIRO Investment S.A. won 2nd place in the category Services – Large Enterprises and the Excellence Trophy, awarded to companies that managed to rank among the top three companies in Bucharest for five consecutive years. The awards were received by Mrs. Clitemnestra Bugheanu-Gâdea, General Manager and President of the Board of Directors of NIRO Investment SA, and Mrs. Raluca Mihăescu, Image and Communication Director.

According to the methodology of the top, among the 169,495 companies with headquarters in Bucharest that submitted the balance sheet for the year 2023, 65,677 companies (38.7%) met the eligibility criteria, and 7,417 were awarded by the CCIB. These companies achieved a cumulative turnover of 133 billion euros, an operating profit of more than 13.6 billion euros and generated 553.5 thousand jobs.

The distinctions offered by CCIB confirm NIRO Investment S.A.’s commitment to excellence and its active role in supporting the sustainable economic development of Bucharest. Connecting Romania and China through dialogue and cooperation, NIRO Investment Group participated in the 6th China – CEE Countries summit

NIRO Investment Group representatives were honored to participate in the 6th China – Central and Eastern European Countries summit, an event dedicated to the development of economic and cultural collaborations between China and CEE countries. The summit, held in a special anniversary context – 75 years of bilateral relations between Romania and China – represented a valuable platform for strengthening strategic partnerships.

Participants from NIRO Investment Group delivered a speech at the summit and gave interviews to local media, underlining the company’s commitment to developing joint projects that have the potential to bring long-term economic and cultural benefits to both nations. During this dialogue, topics related to bilateral economic collaboration, investment projects and cultural partnerships were addressed, with NIRO emphasizing through its presence its active role in promoting collaborative relations between China and Romania.

In addition, China Daily, one of China’s leading publications, devoted a feature to NIRO Investment Group, highlighting the group’s contributions and projects. This honorable gesture marks the international recognition of the company’s efforts and its involvement in major projects, be it investments in luxury hospitality or cultural diplomacy actions that promote deep ties between the two countries.

Representatives of the Romanian-Chinese House were also part of the Romanian delegation present at the event. Established in 2011, this association is one of the most prestigious in Europe, occupying a leading place among organizations dedicated to cooperation and friendship with China. The Romanian-Chinese House is a strong provider of initiatives in the fields of education, culture and business relations, being an essential promoter of cooperation between Romania and China in civil society.
