Patricia Maria Ţig, 29 years old and ranked 387 in the WTA standings, has once again proven to be an undeniable force in women's tennis. She recently won the ITF tournament in Galaţi, which had a total prize fund of $15,000, establishing herself as the top favorite. The tournament, organized by the Ion Ţiriac Foundation, the Romanian Tennis Federation, and ASC X Tennis Galaţi, with the support of NIRO Investment Group, culminated in Patricia's victory over Elena Ruxandra Bertea, with a final score of 6-4, 6-2.
The victory in Galaţi marks Patricia Ţig's 17th ITF title of her career and the second this year, following her win last month at the ITF tournament in Focşani, which featured the Ion Ţiriac Trophy and total prizes of $15,000.
