Romania makes history at the EHF EURO 2024 Women’s Handball Championship
The EHF EURO 2024 Women’s Handball Championship marks a historic first, as it is the first edition of the competition to feature 24 national teams. Romania is proudly represented by the women’s national team, which demonstrated passion and determination in the group stage, playing in Group B at the Fonix Arena in Debrecen, Hungary.
The support from the Romanian fans was impressive, with over 2,000 fans cheering the team on at every match, creating an electrifying atmosphere in the stadium. The team’s performance was crowned with a qualification to the main group I, alongside strong teams such as France, Sweden, Hungary, Montenegro and Poland.
