Corinthia Grand Hotel du Boulevard, part of Spotlight 2025 – the capital of light and creativity

During October 10–12, 2025, Bucharest once again becomes the capital of light and creativity, hosting the 9th edition of Spotlight – International Light Art Festival, one of the most anticipated cultural events of the fall.

Already a landmark of the urban art scene, the festival brings together dozens of Romanian and international artists this year who transform the city center into a spectacular route of interactive installations, light sculptures and video mapping projections.

Among the most captivating moments of the edition is the MorphoClash installation, signed by the visual artist Vali Chincișan (RO), which will come to life on the imposing facade of Corinthia Grand Hotel du Boulevard.

The work proposes a visual exploration of the collision between organic metamorphosis and architectural rigidity. Through dynamic plays of light, textures and colors, MorphoClash builds a conflictual symbiosis, a dialogue between the fluid chaos of nature and the geometric order of architecture. The installation invites the viewer to reflect on the idea of symbiosis as a space of tension and complementarity, where differences support and transform each other.

With the theme “Symbiosis”, the Spotlight 2025 edition proposes a change of perspective, from competition to collaboration, transforming the festival into a place where art, technology and community meet to generate new forms of expression.

The public is invited to discover the magic of light and creativity on Calea Victoriei, where the Corinthia Grand Hotel du Boulevard will become, for three evenings, a living canvas on which digital art reinterprets the timeless elegance of one of Bucharest’s most beautiful historical buildings.
